A new warning has been issued to people who are planning to visit Turkey for weight loss treatments.
Many people travel to Turkey for cosmetic surgery, dental procedures and cardiac surgery. However, the standard of some medical facilities has caused the UK Government concern.
Since January 2019, 22 British nationals have died in Turkey following medical procedures. There are now reports of an outbreak of botulism cases linked to weight loss treatments performed in Istanbul and Izmir.
