Hoping to obtain a quality hair transplant surgery at an affordable price, this Vancouver-area patient in his early 30’s traveled abroad to Turkey to undergo his procedure. Unfortunately, his effort to cut costs left him with an inferior result: a thin, pluggy hairline, rounded temple points, scarring and misdirected grafts. Disappointed with the outcome of his surgery, he approached Hasson & Wong for an assessment. Upon review of the work done in Turkey, Dr. Hasson informed the patient that he would require a second FUE procedure in order to repair the damage done - assuring him that the outcome would be vastly superior to his current result. After the removal of 95 misdirected and misplaced grafts in his temporal angles, the patient underwent a 2000-graft FUE procedure to rebuild his hairline and frontal zone. The new hairline that Dr. Hasson designed for him is much more natural and masculine in shape – framing his face in an aesthetically pleasing manner. He looks forward to seeing his results emerge over the coming months!

This patient’s story should serve as a valuable lesson to anyone considering cosmetic procedures of this nature: when it comes to hair restoration surgery, you usually get what you pay for.
