hola! here is a sit down video explaining how to chose my study abroad program (ESADE Barcelona) and tips for those of you looking to study abroad for an entire semester! as mentioned in the video, this was filmed in February (before all the COVID craziness), I am currently back home in the US so my semester was unfortunately cut short (if you want a story time lnk it was actually pretty insane getting back). reminder that this is solely based on my experience as an Indiana University Bloomington student (now a junior) majoring in marketing and international business at the Kelley School of Business (#KelleyPassport)! make sure to do your own research, talk to an advisor, if possible talk to students who have gone no the exchanges you are interested in and have so much fun!! leave me any questions you have in the comments :)

tips of things to research and consider (and maybe talk about in your application essay or scholarship app essays):
- TYPE of program (CIEE, IES, Exchange)
- the LANGUAGE is super important (will be a big barrier, but most exchanges have all their classes in English)
- reputation of school?
- accommodations/living situation (apartment, dorm, homestay)
- cost $$$ (it is going to be expensive)
- weather/climate
- proximity to other countries or cities for weekend trips and breaks
- people & connections
- culture!
