The MTV VMAs, a major award show, is currently a hot topic among K-pop fans, including BLINKs, who are saddened by Blackpink's absence from the event.

Interestingly, Blackpink's latest song "The Girls'' was played at the VMA, even though the members weren't present. Additionally, this year's VMA red carpet theme featured the colors black and pink, which is a nod to Blackpink.

It's worth noting that Blackpink received six nominations, making them the most-nominated artist at the event. However, they unfortunately lost in two categories, "Best Art Direction" and "Best K-pop of the Year," which were announced during the event. Meanwhile, the other four nominations were announced via the VMA's official website.

And Yeah.. Blackpink achieved a significant victory by winning the "Group of the Year" award, becoming the first girl group to do so in 24 years since TLC in 1999.

Not only that, PINK VENOM also managed to win 'Best Choreography' and this is NOT a fan-voted award!

Congratulations, Girls! We did it BLINKs!!!!
