From a distance, university education in the United States and Canada may not seem much different, considering that they are neighbouring North American countries.
But the numbers seems to tell a different story. In 2017, Canada issued over 317,000 study permits to international students from 180 countries.
Meanwhile in the United States, only over 271,000 new international students enrolled in the same year. While the number of international students entering Canada is increasing by 20 percent, the United States is seeing about 6 percent decline year on year.
What could be the reason for this shift? Well, in today’s video we bring you side by side comparison of what it looks like to study in Canada versus the United States.
Hopefully, this will help you make a decision. If you are new here, consider subscribing to After School Africa for more informative videos like this.
